veridive's Library accepts a wide range of sources — far more than YouTube links. Here's everything you can add and the formats supported.
Supported source types
| Type | Details | Formats / limits |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube | Videos, playlists, channels; podcasts published on YouTube. Paste links or search inside the app. | Public content |
| Web links | Articles, blog posts, documentation pages — content is extracted for you. | Any HTTP/URL; many at once |
| Documents | Bring your own files to read alongside video. | PDF · DOCX · PPTX · XLSX · CSV · TXT — up to 100 MB |
| Other video platforms | Paste video URLs from other platforms; we fetch the transcript. | Vimeo · X/Twitter · Instagram · TikTok · Facebook |
| Audio & video files (STT) | Upload your own recordings and veridive transcribes them. | MP3 · WAV · M4A · MP4 · MOV — up to 100 MB |
On YouTube content: veridive works with publicly available videos and uses the video's own transcript where available, preparing one when it isn't. It's designed to be complementary to YouTube — it helps you find and understand moments, then sends you to the original to watch.
What's not supported (yet)
Private or unlisted videos you don't control may not be available. If a source won't add, see Troubleshooting.
