XIAOMI 15T: Complete Guide to All Backup Methods (Local, Cloud, PC)

Accessing Backup Settings

• ⚙️ Navigate to Settings on your XIAOMI 15T and select About phone.
• 💾 Scroll down to find the Backup and restore option to access all backup functionalities.

Local Device Backup

• 📱 A local backup can be created directly on the device, but it will be erased if the phone is reset.
• ⚠️ It is highly recommended to also back up to a computer for permanent storage.
• ✅ Select desired data, agree to terms, and initiate the backup process by tapping Backup.
• 🎉 Once the process reaches 100%, tap Finish to complete the local backup.

XIAOMI Cloud Backup

• ☁️ To use XIAOMI Cloud backup, you need to create or log in to a XIAOMI account.
• 🔄 Click on Backups, then Allow, and finally Backup now to start the cloud backup.
• 🔑 Remember to log in with the same XIAOMI account to restore this backup later.

Google Backup

• ☁️ For Google backup, first verify your logged-in Google account in the device's Google settings.
• ⚙️ In Backup and restore, ensure Device data is enabled, and check Photos and videos settings.
• ⏳ Initiate the backup by tapping Backup now; a progress circle indicates the backup is underway.
• ⏱️ The backup is complete when the progress circle disappears, and you can see the last backup time in the details.

Transferring Backup to Computer

• 🔌 Connect your phone to your computer via USB-C cable and set the USB mode to File transfer/Android Auto.
• 📂 On your PC, navigate to your phone's internal storage, then to the MIUI folder, followed by backup and all backup.
• 🗃️ Locate the backup zip folder and copy it to your computer's desktop or another desired location for safekeeping.
