Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM 3 and BOLT 3 Updates

• 🚀 The third generation of Wahoo's ELEMNT Bike Computers, the ROAM 3 and BOLT 3, are introduced, featuring new displays and updated user interfaces, similar to the recently released ELEMNT ACE.

ELEMNT ROAM 3 New Features

• 📱 The ROAM 3 features a slimmer, taller, and slightly thicker form factor with significantly reduced bezels. It now includes a touchscreen for easier navigation and menu scrolling.
• ✨ It boasts a new memory pixel display with increased contrast and a broader color palette, enhancing map detail, and a slightly larger 2.8-inch screen.
• 🗺️ The updated user interface includes ride profiles for different terrains (gravel, road, mountain) and a revamped ride-ready menu for accessing routes and workouts.
• 🔊 A new full-on speaker provides voice prompts for navigation and a digital bell feature activated by a double-tap on the screen.
• 🔋 Claimed battery life has increased to up to 25 hours, compared to 17 hours on the previous generation.

ELEMNT BOLT 3 New Features

• 📏 The BOLT 3 shares similar form factor updates with the ROAM 3, including a slimmer profile and the updated memory pixel display with higher contrast and a broader color palette.
• 🚫 Unlike the ROAM 3, the BOLT 3 does not have a touchscreen but retains most of the new user interface enhancements.
• 💾 A key difference is storage: the ROAM 3 has 64 GB, while the BOLT 3 has 32 GB, affecting the number of maps that can be stored.

Wahoo TRACKR RADAR

• 💡 The TRACKR RADAR is Wahoo's new rear light and radar device, priced at $199, joining other brands in this category.
• 🚗 It detects vehicles approaching from behind and alerts the cyclist via their head unit, supporting ANT+ and Bluetooth radar standards.
• 💡 The light has a maximum brightness of 53 lumens and features modes that vary brightness and battery life, with a claimed battery life of up to 20 hours in low flash mode.
• 🚦 A smart feature allows the light to reduce brightness when no vehicles are detected and increase brightness when vehicles approach, and it can also act as a brake light using its built-in accelerometer.
• 🔧 The radar comes with mounts for round, aero, and D-shaped seat posts, using a latching system for attachment.
