Enabling and Accessing Hotspot Settings

• 💡 Swipe down from the top right of the screen to access toggles and locate the hotspot toggle.
• 📌 If the toggle is not visible, it can be added by tapping the pencil icon and dragging it into the visible list.
• 🔑 Holding the hotspot toggle directly opens its configuration settings.

Hotspot Password and Security

• 🔑 It is recommended to change the default randomly generated password to a simpler, memorable one of at least eight characters.
• 🔒 The security setting should generally be kept as is.

AP Band Configuration (2.4 GHz vs. 5 GHz)

• 📶 The AP band can be set to either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz.
• 🚀 5 GHz offers a faster and more stable connection but may not be supported by older devices.
• ⚠️ If older devices cannot see the hotspot, switching to 2.4 GHz is recommended.
• 🏙️ In congested areas with many Wi-Fi signals, 5 GHz might offer a clearer broadcast, but 2.4 GHz is usually sufficient for typical phone data speeds.

Advanced Hotspot Settings

• 👥 The maximum number of connected devices is limited to 10.
• 🚫 A blocklist feature allows users to prevent specific devices from connecting.
• ⏳ Auto-off automatically disables the hotspot after 10 minutes of no connected devices, which can be adjusted or turned off.
• 📊 A mobile data limit can be set to prevent exceeding data caps, with options for predefined amounts or custom limits.
• 🔋 Turning off the hotspot manually when not in use can conserve phone battery.

Activating and Deactivating the Hotspot

• ✅ The hotspot can be activated by tapping its toggle once settings are configured.
• 🎛️ Users can also manually deactivate the hotspot at any time to save battery.
