Atlantic Basin Conditions

• 💨 Saharan dust continues to blanket parts of the Atlantic and Caribbean, contributing to a quiet tropical season.
• 🚫 No tropical formation is expected in the Atlantic basin over the next seven days.
• 📈 Tropical activity is anticipated to increase later in the season, particularly from July into August, as Saharan dust breaks down and water temperatures warm.
• 🏡 Early-season development, if it occurs, is typically closer to home, originating from the Gulf, Atlantic, or Caribbean.

Eastern Pacific Activity

• 🌊 The Eastern Pacific has been busy, with two areas of interest currently being tracked.
• ⛈️ Tropical Depression 4E is located just off the southern coast of Mexico, bringing disorganized thunderstorm activity.
• ⚠️ This depression is expected to cause rain and high surf along the southern coast of Mexico.
• 📊 Another area in the Eastern Pacific has a 30% chance of development over the next seven days.
• 🔍 Continuous monitoring of both the Eastern Pacific and Atlantic basins will be provided.
