Pacific Basin Moisture and Southwest Flooding

• 🌧️ The remnants of Post-Tropical Cyclone Priscilla are bringing significant moisture to the desert Southwest, particularly Arizona and New Mexico.
• ⚠️ Flash flood watches are in effect for most of Arizona through Sunday and into the start of next week, with potential rainfall of 2-4 inches.
• 🚗 Desert flooding is a serious concern, as even 1-2 inches of rain can cause flash floods due to dry, porous ground, with fast-moving water capable of carrying away vehicles.
• ✈️ Travelers heading to or from the Southwest, including areas like Las Vegas, Arizona, and Phoenix, should be aware of potential flight delays due to flooding concerns.
