The Struggle to Leave Egypt Behind

• ⏳ While physically leaving Egypt was relatively quick, the process of removing Egypt from the hearts and minds of the Israelites took a generation.
• 🏜️ Many adults who left Egypt died in the wilderness due to a loss of faith and obedience, failing to enter the Promised Land.
• 🎯 God's freedom is not the absence of responsibility or the ability to do whatever one pleases, but freedom to fulfill His plan.

Freedom in Christ

• ⛓️ Jesus states that whoever sins is a slave to sin, but the Son sets you free, leading to true freedom.
• 🌱 This freedom in Christ is not freedom from responsibility, but freedom to be something and fulfill God's plan for us.
• ⚠️ Unfaithfulness to God's plan can lead to being free from bondage but still lost in the wilderness, falling back into former ways.
