Texas Wildfires: Containment Efforts, Volunteer Support, and Weather Threats

Wildfire Status in Texas

• 🔥 The Crab Apple Fire in Gillespie County has scorched nearly 10,000 acres and is currently 85% contained, though strong winds are causing flare-ups.
• ⚠️ At least nine homes have been lost due to the Crab Apple Fire, and one firefighter was hospitalized after a tree limb fell on him.
• ⚡ A second wildfire near Harper, off I-10, has burned 50 acres and is only 20% contained, forcing evacuations of five homes.

Volunteer Support Efforts
