TECNO Pop 9: How to Hard Reset and Remove Screen Lock

Powering Off the Device

• 🔌 First, you need to power off your TECNO Pop 9 completely. Tap the power button and then confirm 'Power Off'.

Entering Recovery Mode

• 🔑 To enter recovery mode, simultaneously hold the Power key and Volume Up button. Continue holding them until the phone vibrates twice, then release both keys.
• 🤖 After the phone vibrates, you will see the 'Android No Command' logo. To access the recovery menu, hold the Power key and briefly press the Volume Up button.

Performing a Factory Reset

• ⚙️ You are now in the Android system recovery menu. Use the Volume keys to navigate and the Power key to confirm selections.
• 🗑️ Scroll down to 'wipe data/factory reset' and press the Power key to select it. Then, scroll down again to 'factory data reset' and confirm with the Power key.
• ⚠️ Be aware that this process will erase all your personal data, including photos, messages, and settings.

Rebooting the Phone

• 🔄 Once the data wipe and formatting are complete, press the Power key to select 'reboot system now'.
• ✨ The phone will restart, and you can proceed with the initial setup, similar to a new device.
