Arrival and Arusha

Lake Manyara National Park

• 🌳 Lake Manyara is a relatively small park known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, baboons, giraffes, and monkeys.
• 🐘 A notable observation was the quiet movement of elephants, contrary to the common perception of them being noisy.
• 🌿 The park features Acacia trees, which the Maasai use for natural barbed wire fencing for their cattle.

Ngorongoro Crater

• 🛖 A visit to a Maasai Boma (village) provided insight into their traditional lifestyle, including their dwellings made of sticks and cow dung, and their diet of meat, milk, and blood.
• 🦁 The crater is home to abundant wildlife, including wildebeest, zebras, hippos, black rhinos, and a pride of lions, though spotting lions can be a highlight.

Tarangire National Park

• 🐆 The park offers chances to see leopards, though evidence of a kill was found rather than the animal itself.
