• 🎯 Fourteen South Florida restaurants were ordered shut last week by state inspectors.

Berries in the Grove Violations

• 💡 Berries in the Grove in Coconut Grove was ordered shut for the second time since 2018.
• 🐭 Inspectors found rodent droppings in a room where rice, flour, beans, and spices were stored.
• 🌡️ Cooked food items such as sausage, fish, chicken, and steaks were also found to be out of temperature.

Wonderwok Chinese and Bruno's Bakery Issues

• 🍜 Wonderwok Chinese in Miami Gardens faced 19 violations, with nearly 100 rodent droppings noted on a steam table, behind a freezer, and under a food prep table.
• 🥖 Bruno's Bakery and Restaurant, located next door, was also ordered shut with nine violations, including rodent droppings found at the front counter, behind the stove, and by the bathroom.

1804 Bread Violations

• 🍞 In North Miami, 1804 Bread was cited for 17 violations after inspectors found two dead rodents between a wall and a freezer.
• 🪳 Additionally, live roaches were observed inside a cabinet where coffee bags were stored.

Reopening After Cleanup

• ✅ All establishments mentioned were allowed to reopen after undergoing ordered cleanup and reinspection by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
