Roborock Saros 10R: Step-by-Step First-Time Setup Guide

Preparing the Docking Station

• ⚠️ Remove protective tape from the charging base before attaching the entry pad to ensure the robot can easily dock and undock.
• 💧 Ensure the clean water tank is filled and the dirty water tank and dust bag are checked and empty/installed correctly.
• 🧼 If using, fill the cleaning solution reservoir, ensuring it's compatible and recommended by Roborock.

Setting Up the Robot

• 🧽 Attach the magnetic mopping pads to the robot.
• 🔌 Plug the charging station into power, positioning it safely to prevent it from falling.
• 🤖 Slide the robot onto the charging station, listening for a chime to confirm it's docked and charging.

Connecting to the Roborock App

• 📱 Download and open the Roborock app on your smartphone (iOS or Android).
• 🔑 Log in or create an account using email, password, or other linked accounts (Gmail, Facebook, Apple).
• ➕ Tap the 'Add Device' button to begin the connection process.
• 📶 To connect, you may need to scan a QR code on the robot or add it manually. If prompted, press and hold the power and dock buttons on the robot for 3 seconds to reset Wi-Fi.
• 🌐 Select your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (5 GHz networks are not supported) and enter the password.
• ✅ Connect to the device's generated Wi-Fi network to complete the pairing process, then tap 'Enter Device' once connected.
• ⚠️ If the app encounters an error during loading, the device may still be connected and functional.
