Revelation 6 & 7: The Four Riders, Martyrs, and the 144,000

The Opening of the Seven Seals

• 🐎 The first seal reveals a white horse whose rider is given a crown and rides out as a conqueror.
• 🐎 The second seal unleashes a fiery red horse, symbolizing the power to take peace from the earth and incite conflict.
• 🐎 The third seal introduces a black horse with a rider holding scales, signifying famine with high prices for basic necessities.
• 🐎 The fourth seal brings a pale horse ridden by Death, with Hades following, given power to kill a fourth of the earth by various means.

Calamities and Persecution

• 💥 The opening of the sixth seal unleashes catastrophic events: a great earthquake, a darkened sun, a red moon, falling stars, and a receding sky.
• ⛰️ Kings, princes, and all people hide in fear, calling for mountains to fall on them to escape the wrath of the Lamb.
• 🩸 Under the fifth seal, the souls of martyrs slain for their faith cry out for justice, being told to wait until the number of those to be killed is completed.
• ⚠️ This indicates that believers will still be present and face death during these times of tribulation.

The 144,000 and the Great Multitude

• 😇 Four angels hold back the winds of the earth, preventing harm until the servants of God are sealed on their foreheads.
• 🔢 144,000 are sealed from the twelve tribes of Israel, with 12,000 from each tribe.

• 🌟 Following this, a great multitude, too numerous to count, from every nation, tribe, people, and language, appears before the throne.

• 💧 They will no longer hunger or thirst, nor be scorched by heat, as the Lamb will be their shepherd and God will wipe away every tear.
