RedMagic 10 Air: How to Enable or Disable Automatic Software Updates

Accessing Developer Options

• 💡 To manage automatic updates on your RedMagic 10 Air, begin by opening the Settings app.
• 📌 Scroll down to the bottom and select About Phone.
• 🔑 Locate the Build number and tap it repeatedly until you see a notification indicating you are now in Developer mode.

Configuring Automatic System Updates

• ⚙️ Navigate back to the main settings menu and select System & Update.
• 🔍 Within this menu, find and enter Developer Options.
• 🎯 Scroll down within Developer Options to find the Automatic system updates setting.

Enabling and Disabling Updates

• 🔄 To enable automatic updates, tap the switcher next to Automatic system updates if it is off. When active, your device will apply updates upon restart.
• 🎛️ To disable automatic updates, simply tap the switcher again to turn it off, ensuring updates only install when you manually initiate them.
