REAL ID Enforcement Begins

• ✈️ Starting today, a standard state-issued driver's license will no longer be sufficient for travelers seeking to fly domestically within the US.
• 🔑 You will need a REAL ID or another approved form of identification, such as a passport, to board flights.

Applying for a REAL ID

• 📝 To apply for a REAL ID, you must visit the DMV in person.
• 📄 You are required to provide your Social Security number, proof of identity, and two documents demonstrating California residency.

What Happens Without a REAL ID

• ⚠️ If you do not have a REAL ID or another valid form of ID at the airport, you can still board your flight.
• 🛂 However, you will be subjected to additional screening and may be diverted to a different line for processing.

Other Acceptable Forms of ID
