Getting Your REAL ID

• 🗓️ Appointments at state licensing agencies like the DMV (New York) or MVC (New Jersey) are filling up quickly, so schedule as soon as possible.
• 🗺️ Consider expanding your search to DMVs outside your immediate area to find available appointment slots.
• 📄 To apply, you'll need to provide documentation for six points of verification, including two letters showing your name and address (utility bill, credit card statement) and proof of your Social Security number.
• 🏛️ A birth certificate or passport counts for four points, a marriage license or military ID for three, and a Social Security card or bank statement for one point.
• 🚗 AAA members can also obtain a REAL ID at select branches in New York or Connecticut.

Alternatives if You Miss the Deadline
