POCO Pad M1: How to Create a Data Backup Using Google Backup

Accessing Backup Settings

• ⚙️ To begin creating a backup on your POCO Pad M1, navigate to Settings.
• 👆 Next, tap on the About tab.
• ⬇️ Scroll down until you find the Backup & Restore option and select it.

Backup Options Overview

• 📱 The POCO Pad M1 offers several backup methods: Mobile device (local), Computer, Xiaomi Cloud, and Google Backup.
• ☁️ Xiaomi Cloud is a viable option, but requires signing into a Xiaomi account.
• ⚠️ A critical warning is given regarding mobile device backups; these are stored on internal storage and will be deleted after a factory reset, making restoration impossible.

Recommended Backup Method: Google Backup

• ⭐ Google Backup is highly recommended due to its reliability and consistent performance.
• ☁️ This method stores your data securely in your Google account.
• 🔑 Ensure you are logged into the correct Google account for backup and future restoration.

Enabling Backup Details

• 📸 Under Backup details, enable the backup for Photos and Videos.
• 📄 Similarly, ensure Other device data is turned on to back up additional information.

Initiating and Confirming Backup

• ▶️ To start the backup process, tap the green button.
• ⏳ The backup will take some time; a slowly filling circle indicates progress.
• ✅ Upon completion, a notification will appear, and the backup status will be confirmed in the Backup details section, showing the time of completion.
