Accessing WhatsApp Backup Settings

• ⚙️ Open WhatsApp and tap the three dots in the top right corner to access the menu.
• 🔧 Navigate to Settings, then select Chats.
• 💾 Tap on Chat Backup to find all backup-related options.

Configuring Your Google Backup

• ☁️ Select your Google account where the backup will be stored. Remember this account and its password for future restoration.
• 🗓️ Set up automatic backups by choosing a frequency (e.g., monthly). The default is 'off', but monthly is recommended for convenience.
• 🖼️ Enable the option to include videos in your backup to save all media content.

Enhancing Backup Security and Initiating Backup

• 🔒 For extra security, you can enable end-to-end encrypted backup. This requires creating a unique password, which is essential for restoring chats later. Be aware that losing this password means losing access to your chats.
• ▶️ To start the backup process immediately, tap the backup button.
• ✅ Once the backup is complete, your WhatsApp chats, media, and history will be safely stored on your Google account.
