POCO F8 Ultra: How to Record Your Screen and Understand Black Screen Issues

Accessing and Configuring the Screen Recorder

• 👆 Swipe down from the top right of the POCO F8 Ultra screen to access Quick Settings.
• ➕ If the Screen Recorder toggle is not visible, tap the 'Edit' button to add it from the available toggles.
• ⚙️ Hold the Screen Recorder toggle to access settings for quality, bitrate, orientation, sound source (mic, system, or both), and frame rate.
• 📈 For smooth motion, it's recommended to set the frame rate to 60 FPS, as YouTube only accepts up to 60 FPS.
• 🔊 The sound source can be set to 'none', 'mic', 'system', or 'both' to customize audio capture.

Starting and Managing Recordings

• ▶️ Tap the Screen Recorder toggle to bring up the overlay, then tap the record button to begin.
• 🖼️ All on-screen activity will be recorded, with an overlay showing recording controls.
• 🗄️ Recordings are automatically saved to your phone's Gallery, typically found under Albums → Screen recordings.
• 📂 The Gallery app provides a dedicated section for screen recordings, separate from screenshots, unlike some other photo apps.

Understanding Black Screen Issues in Recordings

• ⬛ Certain streaming apps, like Netflix, may display a black screen during recording.
