POCO F8 Ultra: How to Enable 'Install Unknown Apps' for Sideloading

Navigating to Special Permissions

• ⚙️ Begin by opening the Settings app on your POCO F8 Ultra.
• 🔒 Scroll down to find and select Security & privacy, then tap on More security and privacy.
• 🔑 Locate and tap on Special permissions to access advanced security settings.

Enabling Unknown App Installs

• 📲 Within Special permissions, find and select Install unknown apps.
• 🌐 This screen lists apps that can be granted permission to install other applications.
• 🎯 To allow an app, like Chrome, to install unknown apps, find it in the list and tap on it.
• ✅ Toggle the switch next to Allow from this source to enable the permission.
• ⚠️ A system warning will appear, detailing the risks of installing apps from unverified sources; acknowledge these risks by tapping OK.

Managing Permissions

• ↩️ To revoke previously granted permissions, simply return to the app's entry in the Install unknown apps list.
• ❌ Tap the toggle switch again to disable the permission, ensuring your device's security.
