Importing Contacts to POCO F8 Pro

• 💡 Open the standalone Contacts application on your POCO F8 Pro.

Managing SIM Contacts

• 🎯 Navigate to 'Organize' and select 'Manage SIM' instead of 'Import from file'.
• 🔒 A hidden 'Device only' option is available under 'More options' to save contacts solely to your device, avoiding cloud sync.
• 🚫 This method is recommended to prevent sharing others' personal information without their consent.

Importing and Avoiding Cloud Sync

• ✅ When importing, existing contacts may be grayed out; these already exist on your device.
• ❓ You will be prompted to remove contacts from your SIM card after import; it is recommended to keep the SIM backup to retain a physical copy.
• 📱 Imported contacts will appear in the Contacts app, and you can choose to display them from the 'Device' storage.

Enhancing Contact Information

• ✏️ Imported contacts can be edited to add details like photos, first/last names, company, multiple phone numbers, and labels.
