POCO F8 Pro: How to Enable and Use Power Saving & Ultra Battery Saver Modes

Accessing Power Saving Modes

• 💡 Swipe down from the top right of the POCO F8 Pro screen to access Quick Settings.
• 🔍 Look for the battery with a plus icon to find the Battery Saver toggle.
• 🛠️ If the toggle isn't visible, tap the edit button in Quick Settings and add Ultra Battery Saver.

Normal Power Saving Mode

• ✅ Enable normal Power Saving mode by tapping its toggle.
• ⚙️ Hold the toggle to access customization settings, including options to turn off Always-On Display, schedule mode, and set a charge threshold for disabling the mode.
• ⚠️ Be aware that Power Saving mode may restrict background activity, potentially suspend Wi-Fi/mobile data, and delay notifications.

Ultra Battery Saver Mode

• 🚀 Activating Ultra Battery Saver significantly restricts power consumption, decreases screen brightness, and switches to dark mode.
• 🏠 The home screen becomes simplified with fewer applications and limited toggles.
• 📈 This mode offers a substantial increase in battery life, extending it to over 100 hours from a baseline of around 30-40 hours.

Battery Life Estimates and Alternatives

• 📊 The device estimates battery life based on current usage, with Power Saving extending it to approximately 39 hours and Ultra Battery Saver to over 102 hours.
• 📉 The displayed battery estimate may not always be accurate, especially concerning the impact of screen brightness.
• 💡 An alternative to power saving modes is to manually lower screen brightness, which can significantly extend battery life while still allowing full phone functionality.
