Accessing Developer Options

  • ⚙️ Begin by opening the Settings app on your POCO F7.
  • 📱 Navigate to About Phone and then locate the OS version for Poco.
  • 👆 Tap on the OS version repeatedly until you see a notification indicating you are in Developer Mode.

Locating the Automatic Update Setting

  • 🔙 Once in Developer Mode, go back to the main Settings list.
  • ⬇️ Scroll down to the very bottom to find Additional Settings.
  • 🔍 Within Additional Settings, scroll down again to find Developer Options.

Managing Software Updates

  • 💡 Inside Developer Options, scroll down slightly to find the Automatic System Updates option.
  • ✅ To enable automatic updates, tap the switcher to turn it on. The device will then apply updates when restarted if an update is available.
  • ❌ To disable automatic updates, simply tap the switch again to turn it off.
  • 🔄 Managing this setting allows you to control when your POCO F7 installs new features or security patches.
