PGBT Ramp Closures in Carrollton for IH-35E and TxDOT Projects

Traffic Alert: PGBT Ramp Closures

• ⚠️ President George Bush Turnpike (PGBT) east and westbound connector ramps to southbound IH-35E in Carrollton will be shut down.
• 🗓️ These closures are scheduled for tonight, July 15th, and tomorrow night, July 16th, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
• 📍 The affected area is near the Dallas and Denton County border, at the intersection of I-35 and PGBT.

Alternate Routes Provided

• 🚗 If traveling east on PGBT, exit Sandy Lake, turn right, then turn right onto the IH-35E southbound frontage road.
• 🚗 If traveling west on PGBT, take Old Denton Road, turn left, then turn left onto the IH-35E frontage road and head south.

Reason for Closures

• 🚧 The closures are necessary for TxDOT to perform work along IH-35E in the Carrollton area.
• 📢 Message boards and signage will be in place to assist drivers in navigating the detours.
