- 🧼 Clean the fingerprint sensor area with a soft cloth, ensuring no water is used. A slightly damp cloth with alcohol is acceptable, but it must be soft.
Adjusting Fingerprint Settings
- ⚙️ Navigate to Settings on your OPPO Reno 15.
- 🔒 Select Security & privacy, then tap Device unlock.
- 👆 Choose Fingerprint and enter your pattern or PIN.
- 🗑️ Tap the three dots next to your saved fingerprint and select Delete.
Re-adding Your Fingerprint
- ➕ Tap Add to re-register your fingerprint.
- 👆 Follow the on-screen prompts, placing and lifting your finger repeatedly until the fingerprint is fully added.
- ✅ Test the unlock function to see if the issue is resolved.
Advanced Troubleshooting
- 🔄 If the fingerprint sensor still fails, restart your device.
- 🛡️ If the problem persists after restarting, consider removing or changing your screen protector, as a thick protector can interfere with sensor recognition.
