OPPO A6 Pro 5G: Two Easy Backup Methods (Local & Google)

Local Backup with 'Backup & Migrate'

• ⚙️ Navigate to Settings → System & Update → Backup & Reset to begin.
• 📂 Select Backup & Migrate and choose to create a new local backup.
• 🗂️ You can select all data or choose specific items, then tap Start to initiate the backup.
• ⚠️ Be aware that a local backup stored on the device will be lost if the device is factory reset.

Copying Local Backup to PC

• 🔌 Connect your OPPO A6 Pro 5G to your computer using a USB cable.
• 📲 In the notification bar, select File Transfer mode for the USB connection.
• 📁 Open your computer's file explorer, navigate to the phone's internal storage, then to Android/data/Backup Restore/backup/data to find the backup folder.
• 💻 Drag and drop this backup folder to your computer (e.g., a dedicated 'backups' folder on your desktop) to save it externally.

Google Account Cloud Backup

• ☁️ Return to Backup & Reset and select the Google Account option.
• ✅ Ensure that Photos & Videos and Other device data are enabled for backup.
• 👤 The backup will be saved to the currently logged-in Google account; ensure you use the same account for restoration.
• 🟢 Tap the green button to start the cloud backup process and wait for completion, indicated by a disappearing circle and a confirmation message.
• 📊 You can verify the backup status under Other device data to confirm it was created recently.
