NUBIA Neo 3 5G: How to Change Navigation Bar Settings (Gestures vs. Buttons)

Accessing Navigation Settings

• ⚙️ Begin by opening the Settings app on your NUBIA Neo 3 5G.
• 🧭 Scroll down and locate the Features option, then tap on it.
• 👆 Next, select System Navigation to access the navigation controls.

Switching Between Navigation Types

• ↔️ Within System Navigation, you will see options to choose between gesture navigation and the classic three-button navigation.
• 🖱️ To switch to buttons, select the three-button option, which includes Back, Home, and Recent buttons.
• ✨ To switch to gestures, simply tap the gesture navigation option.

Customizing Button Navigation

• 🔧 Tap on the settings icon next to the three-button navigation to customize.
• 🔄 You can reorder the Back and Recent buttons to your preference.
• 💡 Options include deciding whether to always show the navigation bar and configuring the Home button for Google Assistant.

Customizing Gesture Navigation

• 📏 If you prefer gestures, you can choose to display a bottom indicator (a line at the bottom of the screen).
• ⚠️ Be aware of settings to avoid misoperation by swipe gesture, especially concerning Google Assistant.
• 👆 Adjust gesture sensitivity for back actions; it's recommended to revisit this setting after using gestures for a while.

Understanding Gesture Controls

• ↩️ To go back to the previous page, swipe from the side of the screen towards the center.
• 🏠 To return to the homepage, swipe quickly from the bottom of the device to the center.
• 🔳 To open recent apps, perform the same swipe from the bottom but hold your finger longer.
