Nothing Phone 3a Lite: How to Set Up and Use Private Space to Hide Apps and Files

Understanding Private Space

• 💡 Private Space creates an isolated, secure area on your phone, perfect for hiding sensitive apps like financial or social media applications.
• 🔒 This feature allows selected apps and documents to disappear from your main home screen and be accessible only via a separate lock.

Setting Up Private Space

• ⚙️ Navigate to Settings → Security & privacy → Privacy → Private space.
• ✅ Confirm your main phone pattern to begin the setup process.
• 🔑 Choose a separate lock for your Private Space (PIN, pattern, or password), which can optionally include fingerprint authentication for added security.
• ⚠️ Using a distinct lock for Private Space ensures that even if someone knows your main phone password, they cannot access your private area.

Adding Content to Private Space

• ➕ Tap the 'Add apps' button to select applications like TikTok or YouTube to move into the secured area.
• 🖼️ You can also add private files and photos by tapping the plus icon and selecting them.
• 💨 Once added, these items will disappear from your main phone space.

Accessing and Exiting Private Space

• ➡️ To enter Private Space, open the app drawer and swipe from the left side over to the right.
• 🔒 You will be prompted to enter your Private Space lock (PIN, pattern, or password).
• ⬆️ To exit Private Space, simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
