North Texas Rainfall Update

• 🌧️ North Texas has received just under two inches of rain this month (as of day seven), which is above normal by more than 3/4 of an inch.
• 🌸 For meteorological spring (March, April, May), the region has seen 8.78 inches of rain, exceeding the normal by an inch and a quarter.
• 📅 Year-to-date, rainfall is just under 16 inches, approximately 3 inches above normal.

North Texas Lake Levels

• 🏞️ Many North Texas lakes are currently above normal pool stage.
• 💧 Grapevine Lake is 6.5 feet above normal, Lewisville Lake is 2 feet above, and Ray Hubbard is half a foot above.
• 🌊 Texoma Lake is notably high, standing at 16.5 feet above normal.
• ⚠️ Lakes primarily to the west and northwest of Fort Worth are the exceptions, with most others being above normal.

Upcoming Weather Forecast

• ☀️ Current conditions show mostly clear skies across the area.
• 🌦️ A 10% chance of rain is forecast for tomorrow, with a slightly higher 20% chance on Friday.
• 🏖️ Saturday and Sunday are expected to be dry, with highs in the 70s.
• 🔥 Temperatures are predicted to rise into the 80s and 90s starting Monday, with highs reaching near 90 degrees by Wednesday and Thursday.
