The October 7th Attack

• 🎯 On October 7th, 368 people were present in the kibbutz, and 117 were either murdered or kidnapped, representing one out of every three people present.
• ⏳ The army did not arrive until 3 PM, leaving residents to defend themselves from 6:29 AM against an estimated 500 to 920 terrorists from the Gaza Strip.

Rebuilding Nir Oz

• 🏗️ Efforts are underway to rebuild the kibbutz, with a focus on constructing new, more safely constructed buildings that include safe rooms and integrated facilities.
• 🏠 Currently, 10 homes have been rebuilt and renovated, with plans for a new neighborhood of 84 houses.
