Meyga Learning Center's Mission

• 💡 Meyga is a Community nonprofit serving the multiethnic youth of Liberty City for over 20 years.
• 🎯 Their mission includes offering after-school care, free meals, tutoring, and mentorship to guide youth toward independence and workforce participation.

Environmental Education and Action

• 🌍 The field trip included an up-close lesson in history and a call to action to protect their future through environmental stewardship.
• 🚮 Students participated in a beach cleanup, collecting litter and small plastic pieces to maintain the historic and environmental site.
