Meet Whistle: An Adoptable Dog

• 🐾 Whistle is a camera-shy but warming up, approximately one-year-old, 43 lb dog, possibly a Catahoula leopard dog mix.
• 💡 She loves people and other dogs, and appears to be housetrained and knows the "sit" command.
• ⚠️ Whistle has a sensitive trachea and requires wearing a harness, but she is otherwise a lovely and beautiful companion.
• ✅ Her adoption fee is $75, and she is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated, ready for a loving home.

SPCA of Texas Adoption Information

• 📍 Both Whistle and Callie (another adoptable dog from last week) are available at the SPCA of Texas, 2400 Lonear Drive, open daily from noon to 6 PM.
• 🏠 Callie, who looks like a puppy but is older, is available through a foster-to-adopt program, with the SPCA providing all necessary supplies.

Special Event: Dallas Pride

• 🏳️‍🌈 The SPCA of Texas will be at Dallas Pride this Saturday and Sunday (the 14th and 15th) at Fair Park.
• 🐶 They will have adoptable pets on Saturday and participate in the pride parade on Sunday, offering opportunities to meet dogs like Whistle and Callie, or learn about fostering and adoption.
