Justice Department's Document Release

Categories of Withheld Information

Redaction Policies for Privacy

• 🔍 Extensive redactions were applied to images and videos to protect victims, specifically redacting every woman depicted with the sole exception of Ms. Maxwell.
• 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Images of men were only redacted if it was impossible to redact the woman without also redacting the man.

Completion of Review Process

• ✅ This release marks the end of a comprehensive document identification and review process to ensure transparency to the American people and compliance with the act.
