Deepening Strategic Partnership

• 💡 This meeting marks the 60th anniversary of India-Singapore relations and reaffirms their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP).

Economic & Industrial Collaboration

• 🚀 Key areas of cooperation extend to advanced manufacturing, green shipping, skilling, civil nuclear energy, and urban water management.
• ✅ Plans are in motion to review the Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) and the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (FTA) to boost mutual trade.

• ⚡ Enhanced cooperation is slated for AI, quantum, and other digital technologies, alongside a new agreement in the space sector.
• 🌐 Successful digital connectivity examples like UPI and PayNow are expanding, with 13 new Indian banks joining the platform.
• 🚢 An agreement for a Green and Digital Shipping Corridor aims to boost green fuel supply chains and digital port clearances in the maritime sector.
• 🔗 Efforts to strengthen digital connectivity between financial systems include digital asset innovation and capital market linkages.

Skills Development & Regional Vision

• 🧠 India and Singapore will host the next round of the India-Singapore Hackathon to engage and connect youth talent.
• 🤝 Singapore reaffirmed its commitment to India's skills development journey, including establishing state-level skill centers for sectors like aviation and semiconductors.
• 🌍 Both countries will continue to work together on India's Act East Policy and a joint vision for peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
