HUAWEI MatePad 11.5: Fix Unresponsive Touchscreen

Initial Troubleshooting Steps

• 제거 case and screen protector from your HUAWEI MatePad 11.5.
• 🧼 Clean the display thoroughly with a microfiber cloth.

Force Restart and Safe Mode

• ⚡ To force restart, hold down the volume down key and power button for over 10 seconds until the screen turns off.
• ⚠️ If the issue persists, enter Safe Mode to check for problematic third-party apps. Hold the power button and volume down key until the screen goes off, then release volume down and press volume up while still holding the power button until the Huawei logo appears. Release the power button and continue holding volume up until you enter recovery/boot mode.
• ➡️ Navigate to Safe Mode using volume keys and confirm with the power button.

Resetting Device Settings

• ⚙️ If the touchscreen works in Safe Mode, go to Settings > System and Updates > Reset.
• 🔄 Select Reset all settings and confirm to reset configurations without deleting data.
• ⚠️ If the touchscreen is still unresponsive after resetting settings, a factory reset may be necessary.

Factory Reset Procedure

• 🗑️ Navigate to Settings > System Updates > Reset > Reset Tablet.
• 🚀 Confirm the factory reset and wait for the process to complete. This will erase all data and restore the tablet to its original state.
• ✅ After the reset, check if the touchscreen functionality has been restored.
