HP X2301 Monitor: How to Manage OSD Settings (Position, Transparency, Timeout)

Accessing OSD Control

• 🖱️ To begin managing your HP X2301 monitor's On-Screen Display (OSD) settings, first click the options button.
• ⬇️ Navigate down using the provided buttons until you find OSD control and press OK to enter.

Adjusting OSD Position and Transparency

• ↔️ Select horizontal OSD position to adjust the menu's placement on the screen. Press OK to save your selection, for example, setting it to 50.
• ↕️ Similarly, you can manage the vertical OSD position, moving it up or down. The example shows setting it to 15.
• 🌈 Adjust the OSD transparency to make the menu clearer or more subtle, as demonstrated by setting it to a clear state.

Setting OSD Timeout and Saving

• ⏱️ You can modify the OSD timeout, which defaults to 30 seconds. The video shows setting it to 31 seconds.
• ✅ After making your desired adjustments, ensure you save and return to exit the menu and apply all changes.
