How to Use the Voice Memos App on iPad (2025) for Recording Audio

Getting Started with Voice Memos

• 📱 Begin by opening the Voice Memos app on your iPad (2025).
• ✅ Select any desired options in the popup that appears.

Recording and Pausing Audio

• 🔴 To start recording, tap the red button located at the bottom left corner.
• ⏸️ Use the same button to pause and unpause the recording.

Playback and Editing Recordings

• ▶️ To listen to your recording immediately, swipe and tap the play button.
• ⏪ You can skip forward or backward by 15 seconds.
• ✂️ To replace a fragment, select the chosen part, tap replace at the bottom left, and start recording again.
• ↩️ If you need to undo changes, click the top left corner.

Managing Settings and Saving

• ⚙️ Access and manage all available settings by clicking the top right corner.
• ✅ To finish and save your recording, hit done at the bottom right corner.
• ✍️ You can name your recording by clicking on 'new recording' and typing, or you can do this later.
• 🗑️ To delete a recording, tap on it and select the trash icon at the top.
