Enabling Back Tap on iPhone 17 Air

  • ⚙️ To start, open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  • 👆 Navigate to Accessibility and then select Touch.
  • 🔍 Scroll down to find the Back Tap option and tap on it.

Assigning Actions to Back Tap

  • 🎯 You can assign custom actions to both a double tap and a triple tap on the back of your iPhone.
  • 💡 Within the Back Tap menu, choose either 'Double Tap' or 'Triple Tap' to see a list of available actions.
  • 🔦 For example, you can set the double tap to activate the Torch.
  • 📸 Similarly, you can assign the triple tap to open the Camera app.

Testing and Disabling Back Tap

  • ✅ To test, unlock your iPhone and perform the assigned tap (double or triple) on the back of the device.
  • 💡 The Torch will turn on with a double tap, and the Camera will launch with a triple tap.
  • ❌ To disable a feature, return to the Back Tap menu, select the corresponding tap action (double or triple), and choose None.
