How to Transfer Files from Android to UMIDIGI G5 Tab Using Send Anywhere

Installing Send Anywhere

• 💡 Install the free Send Anywhere app from the Play Store on both your Android device and the UMIDIGI G5 Tab.
• ✅ Launch the app on both devices once installation is complete.

App Setup and Permissions

• 🤝 Tap 'I agree and I acknowledge' on both devices to proceed.
• ➡️ Click 'Confirm' and then 'Continue'.
• 📂 Grant necessary permissions when prompted, including 'Allow' for first and second popups, and 'Allow' for omit settings.

Initiating File Transfer

• 📤 On your Android device, tap 'Send' at the bottom left.
• 📥 On the UMIDIGI G5 Tab, tap 'Receive' next to 'Send' at the bottom.
• 🗂️ Use the categories at the top of your Android device to select the files you wish to send (e.g., photos, videos, contacts, apps).
• 📞 For categories like contacts, you may need to grant additional 'Allow' permissions to access your files.

Connecting Devices and Transferring Files

• 🔗 After selecting files and hitting 'Send' on Android, tap 'Okay' on the popup.
• 📲 Choose your preferred connection method: scan the QR code or input the key.
• 📷 To scan the QR code, tap the scanning icon on the UMIDIGI G5 Tab, allow camera access, and point your tablet's camera at the QR code on your Android device.
• 🔑 To input the key, click the 'Input key' section and type the numbers shown on your Android device before they expire.
• ⏳ Once connected, the files will be successfully transferred to your UMIDIGI G5 Tab.
