How to Set Up Screen Lock and Fingerprint Unlock on HONOR 400

Accessing Security Settings

• ⚙️ Begin by opening your HONOR 400 device settings.
• 👆 Scroll down and click on biometrics and password to access security options.

Setting Up Your Screen Lock

• 🔒 Tap on lock screen password to initiate the setup process.
• 🔑 Select your preferred unlock method, choosing between a digit PIN, custom PIN, pattern, or password.
• ✅ Create your chosen login method and repeat it to confirm your screen lock.
• ✨ Hit 'done' at the bottom right corner to finalize the screen lock setup.

Adding Fingerprint Unlock

• 🖐️ If you wish to add your fingerprint, select add in the popup that appears.
• 🤳 Follow all the instructions displayed on your screen to register your fingerprint.
• ❌ If you do not want to add a fingerprint at this time, select cancel.

Testing Your New Screen Lock

• 💡 After setting up, switch off your screen and turn it back on to test the new screen lock.
• 🔓 You should now be prompted to enter your pattern or other chosen method to unlock the device.
