How to Set Up Screen Lock and Fingerprint on HONOR X7c

Accessing Security Settings

• ⚙️ Begin by opening the Settings app on your HONOR X7c.
• 👆 Scroll down and tap on Biometrics and password to access security options.

Setting Up a Screen Lock

• 🔒 Select Lock screen password to configure your device's primary security.
• 🔄 Tap on Change unlock method to choose your preferred security type.
• 🔢 Options include a four-digit PIN, a custom PIN, a pattern, or a password.
• ✅ Create your chosen lock and repeat it to confirm.
• ➡️ Hit done in the bottom right corner to save your screen lock.

Adding Fingerprint Security

• 🖐️ After setting the screen lock, you may see a popup to add your fingerprint.
• 👆 If you wish to add it, select Add and follow the on-screen instructions.
• ❌ If you prefer not to add a fingerprint at this time, select Cancel.

Testing Your New Lock

• 📱 Once set up, switch off and then turn on your screen to test the new lock.
• 🔑 You will now be prompted to enter your chosen pattern or PIN to unlock the device.
