How to Set Up and Use App Lock on OPPO A83 for App Security

Accessing App Lock Settings

• 💡 Begin by opening the Settings menu on your OPPO A83.
• 📌 Navigate to the Security section within the settings.
• 🔑 Tap on App Encryption to access the app locking features.

Enabling and Configuring App Encryption

• ✅ To lock all apps, select Enable Encryption.
• 🎯 Alternatively, to lock individual apps, click on each app and tap Enable Encryption.
• 🔒 Choose your preferred inscription method (password, pattern, or fingerprint).
• 🔑 Create and repeat your chosen password or pattern to confirm.
• ❓ Answer a security question to aid in password recovery, with options to select a preset or create a custom question.
• ✨ Hit Done in the top right corner to finalize the setup.

Locking and Unlocking Apps

• 🔒 To lock an app, locate the gray toggle switch next to it in the App Encryption settings and turn it on.
• ⚠️ When you try to open a locked app, you will be prompted to enter your app lock credentials.
• 🔓 To disable app lock for a specific app, return to the App Encryption settings, enter your app lock, and use the green toggle switch to turn it off.
