Accessing and Customizing Hotspot Settings

• 👆 Swipe down from the top right of your screen to access toggles. If the hotspot toggle isn't visible, swipe down again or access the edit menu to add it.
• ⚙️ To access hotspot settings, hold the hotspot toggle. This will open a menu where you can change the default password and rename the network.
• 🔒 The default password is randomly generated; it's recommended to create your own password with at least eight characters for better security.
• 📶 The hotspot name, by default the phone's name, can be customized to your preference and will appear in the Wi-Fi list.

Network Band and Data Management

• 🌐 Under 'More' settings, you can choose between 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. 2.4GHz offers better compatibility, while 5GHz provides faster speeds.
• ⚠️ For general use and better compatibility, especially with mobile network speeds, the 2.4GHz band is often recommended.
• ⏳ The hotspot duration setting automatically turns off the hotspot when not in use to conserve battery.
• 📊 A crucial feature is the data limit, allowing you to set a hard cap on data usage to prevent exceeding your mobile plan limits and incurring extra charges.
• ♾️ Alternatively, you can set the data limit to 'unlimited' if your plan allows.

Activating and Managing the Hotspot

• ▶️ Once configured, tap the hotspot toggle to turn the portable hotspot on.
• 💻 Another device can then find and connect to your customized network name and password.
• 👥 The connected devices menu shows which devices are currently connected to your hotspot, allowing for monitoring.
