How to Set the Camera Timer on the POCO Pad M1

Accessing the Camera Timer

• 📸 To set the camera timer on the POCO Pad M1, first open the Camera app and ensure you are in standard photo mode.
• ⚙️ Navigate to the settings by tapping the arrow in the upper panel or at the top of the screen.
• ⏳ Locate and tap the timer icon, which resembles an hourglass.

Timer Options and Usage

• ⏱️ The POCO Pad M1 offers four timer delay options: Off, 3 seconds, 5 seconds, and 10 seconds.
• ✅ Select your desired delay by tapping on it; it will be immediately highlighted to confirm selection.
• 📸 Once a timer is set, tap the shutter button to initiate the countdown.
• 💡 Be aware that there might not be a visible indicator on the camera screen that the timer is applied after setting it.

Disabling Extra Countdown Light

• 🔦 The device may have an additional timer light, possibly related to night mode (NyLite Countdown).
• 🚫 To disable this extra light and rely solely on the set timer, tap on its icon to turn it off.

Turning Off the Timer

• ❌ To disable the timer completely, return to the timer settings and tap on the crossed-out icon.
• 📷 After disabling the timer, the device will take photos immediately upon touching the shutter button.
