How to Send Direct Messages on the X (Twitter) App

Accessing the Messages Section

• 📱 Open the X application on your phone.
• ✉️ In the bottom right corner, tap the letter icon to access your messages.

Starting a New Conversation

• ➕ Tap the new message button (a plus sign) in the bottom right corner.
• 🔍 Search for the person you want to DM by typing their username.
• 👤 Select the specific person from the list to open the chat.

Sending Your Message

• ✍️ Type your message in the chat window.
• ✈️ Hit the send button (paper plane icon) to send your message.
• ✅ You will see a confirmation that your message has been sent.

Messaging Rules on X

• ⚠️ You can only message people who follow you or who have their DMs open to everyone.
