Starting a New Direct Message
- ➕ Tap the new message button, indicated by a plus sign, also in the bottom right corner.
Finding and Messaging a User
- 🔍 Search for the person you wish to DM by typing their username.
- ✅ Select the specific person from the list of options.
- 💬 Type your message in the chat window.
- ✈️ Hit the send button (paper plane icon) when ready.
Important DM Requirements
- ⚠️ You can only DM people on X who follow you or have their DMs open to everyone.
- 📬 Your message will be sent once confirmed.
