Accessing the Messages Section

📱 Open the X app on your phone.
✉️ In the bottom right corner, tap the icon that resembles a letter to access your messages section.

Starting a New Direct Message

✍️ Tap the button that says "Write a message" to begin a new conversation.
🔍 Search for the desired recipient by typing their username.
✅ Select the person from the appearing list to open the chat.

Sending Your Message

💬 Type your message in the text box located at the bottom of the screen.
🚀 Press send to deliver your message to the recipient.

DM Requirements

⚠️ You can only DM people who follow you or have their DMs open to everyone.
