How to Screen Record on iPhone: A Step-by-Step Guide

Accessing Control Center

• 👆 To begin screen recording on your iPhone, slide down from the top right corner of your screen to access the Control Center.

Adding the Screen Recording Button

• ➕ If the screen recording button (a circle within a circle) is not visible in your Control Center, tap the plus icon in the top left corner.
• 🔍 Find and tap on 'Screen Recording' to add it to your available controls.

Starting and Stopping a Screen Recording

• ▶️ Tap the screen recording button in the Control Center to initiate a three-second countdown before recording begins.
• ⏹️ To stop recording, tap the red recording indicator (often in the Dynamic Island) and then tap 'Stop'.
• 📸 Recordings are automatically saved to your Photos app.

Recording with Microphone Audio

• 🎙️ To include your voice or external audio, press and hold the screen recording button in the Control Center.
• 🔊 Toggle the microphone on to record audio along with your screen.
• 🔴 A small dot appearing on the screen indicates that the microphone is active during recording.
