Resetting Your POCO M8 5G

• 💡 This video provides two methods to reset your POCO M8 5G: a recommended factory reset via Settings and an alternative using Recovery Mode.
• ⚠️ Before proceeding, it's crucial to back up your data as all information will be permanently erased.

Factory Reset via Settings

• ⚙️ Navigate to Settings, then 'About phone', scroll down, and select 'Factory reset'.
• 🗑️ Clicking 'Erase all data' will turn off the device and initiate the reset process.
• 🚀 After the reset, the phone will restart, and you'll need to complete the initial setup.

Resetting via Recovery Mode

• ⚠️ Be aware that if you have a screen lock or Google account set up, you may need to enter these details after the reset for verification (FRP).
• 🔌 To enter Recovery Mode, first power off the device.
• 🎛️ Simultaneously press and hold the power button and volume up button until the POCO logo appears.
• 👆 Release the power button while continuing to hold the volume up button.

Wiping Data in Recovery Mode

• ⬆️ Use the volume keys to navigate and select 'Wipe data', then confirm with the power button.
• ✅ Select 'Wipe data' again and confirm to begin the data wipe process.
• 🔄 Once the data wipe is successful, select 'Reboot' and then 'Reboot to system' to restart your phone.
