How to Record Your Screen on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7

Accessing the Screen Recorder

• 👆 Swipe down from the top right of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 screen twice to reveal all toggles.
• ✏️ If the screen recorder toggle is not visible, tap the pencil icon to edit the quick settings panel.
• 📌 Locate the screen recorder toggle and drag it to your active toggles to add it.

Starting and Customizing Recordings

• 🎬 Tap the screen recorder icon to begin.
• 🔊 Choose your audio source: media sounds only, media sounds and mic, or no audio.
• 👆 Optionally, enable record touches to show a semi-transparent gray dot where you tap.
• ⏳ You can skip the countdown before recording starts.

Understanding Recording Limitations

• ⚠️ Some applications, like Spotify, block screen recording for privacy and security reasons.
• 🔒 These apps prevent any content from being captured to protect user data and prevent piracy.
• 📺 Other apps, such as YouTube, may allow screen recording.

Saving and Accessing Recordings

• ⏹️ Stop the recording by tapping the square stop button.
• 🖼️ Screen recordings are saved in the Gallery app under a dedicated screen recordings album.
• ▶️ Play back your recordings directly from the Gallery to review captured content.
